Quite the storm in #YSW today. Some reports say that it could have been a twister. The high winds took advantage of a weakness in this Manitoba Maple and tore off this large stem. It fell across three roofs across three yards. I stabilized it with a rope so we could come back tomorrow morning to safely remove the limb.... #ONStorm
Searching for Spring amongst the trees in the Beach area of T.O. Didn’t find it but I did perform an inspection of an oak. There are some faults and weaknesses that cannot be viewed from the ground.
Arborist apprentice and recent Humber Graduate, Will prepares the stem for safe removal. Will is expertly navigating the removal of the branch to ensure his safety; the crew’s safety; and the preservation of the property. ... #urbanforestry #cityofTorontotrees #urbanforestrytoronto #arborist
The view from the office today. In other words, Toronto still stands despite the Leaf’s loss. Have a great day!... #urbanforest #torontotrees
What’s under your tie-in point today? Okay, getting a little personal here, right? More storm damage clean up. Large willow tree, already in a state of decline, was hit hard by the wind and the ice. As a result, so was the shed in the neighbour’s yard.... The area is tight so no bucket access. The cavity pictured below is under my tie-in point today. Stay safe and may your work boots be slip resistant.
