I'm incredibly blessed to have so many amazing Yoga philosophy students in my life! Yesterday I had the pleasure of reading numerous well researched and thought provoking essays and my heart was full! Today is another day of reading and commenting on essays and correcting assignments followed by an evening lecture on bringing the teachings to life in the world. I did the count today and we now have over 150 Yoga teacher trainings worldwide that are using the Yoga Philosophy Teacher Training Manual by Georg Feuerstein! I can hear Georg smiling from ear-to-ear at the thought that people are getting at least this amount of Yoga philosophy and history in their training! So far this year we have had several non-English speaking people asking for translations. Hopefully in 2014/2015 we can offer the Manual in German, Italian, Spanish, Rus...sian, French and Japanese. Here's hoping the right people cross my path for this to happen so we can better serve Yoga practitioners worldwide! In addition, I've had an incredible response from people who are Yoga practitioners and/or Yoga teachers who feel they didn't get enough philosophy in their training or want a solid review, and because of this, Traditional Yoga Studies will be making the Manual available as a reasonably priced e-course. My hope is that Yoga practitioners worldwide can benefit from what I consider to be one of Georg's greatest contributions to the general education of Yoga teachers worldwide. It took a lot for me to convince Georg that this Manual was a much-needed contribution and it would be a great service to practitioners worldwide, and he was pleasantly surprised that Yoga teachers embraced it in the way they did.
