To Our Patients and Parents THE CURRENT SUSPENSION ON NON-EMERGENT DENTAL CARE REMAINS IN PLACE. Yesterday we learned of Premier Kenney's announcement of Alberta's Phased Relaunch Strategy, with stage one starting MAY 14, 2020. As part of this strategy, all regulated health professionals may return to safe practice subject to guidelines approved by their respective regulatory colleges.... The finalization of these guidelines is being undertaken and will be released soon to facilitate the gradual progression to return to a full scope of practice. Once we have heard from the ALBERTA DENTAL ASSOCIATION we will begin planning reopening, focusing on access to care, protection and safety of our patients and dental team. Just a reminder to all of our patients and families, Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Alberta Dental Association and College have issued a mandatory suspension of all non-emergency dental treatment and services. Please call our office at 780-439-0708 for direction should you be experiencing a true emergency.... In the meantime, please refer to the following instructions: Invisalign patient: Stay in the last set of aligners you have and continue with 12 hour wear only. Running out of elastics or wax: Please call our office for the emergency phone number to request elastics or wax to be sent to you. Wax can also be purchased at most grocery and drug stores. Poking wire: Please call our office for the emergency phone number so that we may communicate specific instructions to you. Broken or lost retainer: If you can trim/remove your bonded retainer at home, please do so. Once we reopen, we can address re-making retainers per individual situations. Future appointments: All appointments booked until April 30, 2020 are cancelled. We will be providing regular updates. Once we reopen, you will be contacted to reschedule your cancelled appointment.
