Trail and Ultra Running

The Utah Triple Crown is done by climbing Utah's three tallest peaks in one day, car to car. It is roughly 30 miles, with 7000ft of vertical gain, summiting three peaks over 13,000ft. I've been keeping my eye out for my next awesome 360 camera. I've known about Insta360 for a while, but was really intrigued by their new ONE R, dual modular setup. Mt Timpanogos is one of our go-to peaks in the Wasatch. I make an effort to get up there 4-5 times (or more) a year. And I usually make a video about it. Ha. Another incredible weekend of running. This time I ventured into the Uintas to summit a peak I hadn't been to before. Mount Wilson is one of the most remote 13ers in the range, passing Red Castle and all of its beautiful lakes. This was also my first test of the new Insta360 ONE R camera. "Timpependence"? What's that? Every July 3rd at 8pm (ish) my local running group gathers to run to the top of Mt Timpanogos, a prominent 11,700ft peak in the Wasatch Mountains. There is no better feeling then setting a new PR on a route you regularly run. The Alta - Brighton run is a classic route in the Wasatch. Last week I was able to get a new PR on both the initial climb and the overall route. And I was even able to make a video while doing it! https://youtu.be/73monq91y4E
