This service has one of our professional Pet Services team members spending the night with your pet(s) IN-THEIR-OWN-HOME in order to give them all their comforts while you travel. The service fee is $60 +tax a night and $30 +tax for half first and/or last day service. The service fee remains the same no matter the number of pets. Dog walks are included in the above fees. WINTER GROOMING Are you unsure about whether you should continue to have your dog "clipped" throughout the Winter because you think they may be too cold? Here's some answers for you Imagine going out for a beautiful Winter walk, all bundled up in your coat, scarf, hat, and mittens, and then once back inside your warm home NOT being able to take all that Winter gear off That's how our dogs feel! ... **What's worse, imagine how they feel if they are double-coated dogs and their undercoat is matted! By continuing to have your dog clipped, you have the option of putting a sweater or coat on the dog. If you're not interested in having the dog clipped in these specific months, you will need to do your home-work to ensure their undercoat is removed. A dry, fluffed, tangle-free coat traps a layer of warm air to protect the dog from frostbite and hypothermia. If you're not willing/able to put the grooming work in at home, please make sure you are working closely with your groomer to figure out a grooming routine that's in the very best interest of the dog Unless you're brushing your dog EVERY DAY to keep up with the undercoat removal, the dense undercoat WILL eventually mat and cause the dog to be VERY uncomfortable. The snow and slush will make matters EVEN WORSE! Mats being present in the coat will cause discomfort and the dog will try to remove them. They'll scratch and chew at the mats, likely breaking open the skin which could create a Hot Spot. Hot Spot infections require Veterinary attention and usually a prescription Whether you are a client of ours or not, please always feel free to message us any time.
