Being a Hospice volunteer is a such honor and is so rewarding when you make such a big difference with someone who has a life threatening illness. I provide my heart, my compassion and my Reiki healing hand. My sessions are one hour long but sometimes longer. The reaction I get from these amazing human beings is heart warming. They feel relaxed, calm and many times the pain is gone and fear subsided. Words cannot describe the feeling I get when they see me again. It's li...ke I am their guardian angel. I am overwhelmed with gratitude, honor and feel privileged to be part of their life in a time of need. My wings are open a mile long for them and for everyone I am in contact with. If anyone has a loved one, family member or friend who has a life threatening illness. Please recommend Reiki. It truly helps them. I see the look on their face and how they feel after. It's truly a miracle in my eyes. I am very fortunate and grateful to be part of their life even if its only one time, months or a year. I am truly blessed. To my beautiful friend that I met through Hospice. Thank you so much for allowing me to be part your life for a short period of time. I am so grateful that you let me help you through such a difficult time in your life. You were so strong and brave and your kind words and strength is why I feel blessed to be Hospice volunteer.
