The permit request for the 2022/23 playing season has been submitted. Let’s hope for the best!

Just spoke to the School Division. No permits will be issued for this school year, but they will be accepting 2022/23 permit requests in a few weeks. We should be playing by October, providing the Covid situation remains stable.

Due to the pandemic the schools are not available for outside groups such as ours. Our club will be put on hold for the time being, hopefully to return when the situation changes!

As we sit here stress eating our perishable items and listening to Federal announcements it seems prudent to close our doors effective the end of the day ...today. We have worked hard for a long time to make Prairie Badminton come to life and hope this will not be a permanent closure, but only time will tell. Thank you to all of those people that have come through our doors and helped support us and we look forward to being safe gathering space for friends once this is all over. For now. Come on out and enjoy one last hit or purchase anything you think will be of use to help us out. The school division has cancelled all permits effective immediately due to the covid-19 situation. There will be no badminton until further notice. We were cancelled for the last week of March for Spring break so even best case scenario we will not be back until the first week of April.

No badminton this Monday, February 17 due to the Louis Riel Day holiday.

Last call ! volunteers needed for National Badminton Tournament Jan 28- Feb 1 at Prairie Badminton. We are looking for volunteers for linesman (Thu & Friday eve...ning), and other roles within the week. No experience needed. We will provide free food, free t-shirt, free admission for the event. Raising money to help give kids a chance to play...

There is no badminton Dec 9. We will be having our annual Xmas tournament December 16. There will be prizes for all participants. Gary makes up the doubles teams and we have a short round robin from 7:30 to 8:30ish. I will be sending a signup sheet around the next 2 nights (Nov 25 and Dec. 2). This tournament is free to all members.
