Trans County Transportation Society 04.02.2021

The Government of Nova Scotia and the Public Health Office have announced that effective July 24, 2020 it will be mandatory for all public transit users to wear a non-medical mask while using transit services. Trans County Transportation Society is considered a community transit service and falls under the governance of this order. Therefore, beginning Friday July 24th all passengers (and attendants if applicable) using TCTS services will have to wear a mask while using our s...ervices. If you have a legitimate medical reason not to wear a mask, you must contact our office prior to your trip to discuss options. The chief medical officer of health for Nova Scotia has indicated that are very few medical reasons not to comply and it is in the best interest for the safety of Nova Scotians that this order is in place. Additional information related to the correct use of masks can be found at https://novascotia.ca/coronavirus/staying-healthy/#masks
