This period of time since the start of the pandemic, and measures to control it, has been challenging for people on many different levels. One thing it’s forcin...g us all to do is take stock of what we value, and see what we can let go of. Meeting change is not easy for everyone, and the uncertainties inherent in all of the newness can be unsettling at a deep level. Having to juggle different roles can be exhausting. Relating with our various communities from a distance challenges our sense of place and relation too. The stresses that we are having to negotiate can manifest in many different ways- physically, mentally and emotionally. Working with Traditional Chinese Medicine, and especially the Five Element model, I can help you find the root of whatever imbalance you are experiencing, as well as treat the branch, or manifestation. Since I am treating you, a person, and not the condition you are experiencing, there is an incredibly wide array of symptoms that can be improved by acupuncture treatment. Currently, many people are experiencing stress, and stress-related symptoms such as body pain, headaches, general tension, jaw tightness, emotional ups and downs, fatigue, poor concentration, difficulty with focus/clear-thinking, anxiety, fear, frustration, anger, sadness, melancholy, grief, sleep disturbance, insomnia, digestive issues, menstrual irregularities/pain, flare-ups of older chronic illness/symptom patterns, and many more.
