During this COVID-19 crisis our office staff will be available on an appointment basis. Although we continue to work through past orders and are often in the office during regular hours (Mon-Fri, 9am to 5pm), please call to arrange a time to drop off new media for transfer with our staff at either our Vancouver or Kelowna location. We are adhering to social distancing protocols with clients visiting our offices. For larger transfer orders (ie over 8 tapes/reels), we can arrange a pickup from your home (again adhering to social distancing protocols). PART TIME JOB OPPORTUNITY $20/hour - Transfer to Digital is looking for a part time worker to manage our Vancouver office (1480 Boundary Road) beginning late November. The position will start out as a 2 week trial contract and move into continual part time employment and possibly transitioning to full time in the New Year. Duties include running the day to day office responsibilities of transferring clients old media (VHS, Hi8, MiniDV, Betamax, Audio Cassettes) to DVDs/CDs a...nd digital MP4's. Other office duties include: answering phone inquiries, attending to client media drop offs and pick ups, minor book-keeping, and possibly some video editing. Computer experience an asset, but not necessary. Video editing an asset, but not necessary. You will be working alone, so a high level of independence and reliability required. 5 days PAID training shifts ($13/hour) in October. Please PM us for more details.
