Let's talk Animal Reiki for a minute. I have had a few people ask me since the Kitty Reiki Session posted- WHY, Why are you doing reiki on Cats? Amazing questions (PS I love questions, fire them my way and I will always do my best to answer or to help find the answer if I don't know) Reiki is a holistic practice which is utilized for energy healing. All living things have an energy current running through their body - think electric current. The energy current in the body ...can easily be interfered with however as a result of physical changes, dietary changes, changes to sleep, injury, trauma, emotional changes and environmental changes. These changes can alter the ability of the current to flow smoothly, uninterrupted, through the body which can lead to a number of mental, behaviour, or physical concerns. As a Practitioner, I channel the Life Energy Force and use it to help clear blockages within my clients body, restoring a positive flow for the animal. Animals are extremely receptive as a rule to this practice, which is not harmful at all to the animal. Reiki is also extermently beneficial as an animal is facing End-Of-Life. It can help to bring a sense of peace and calm to both the animal and the loved ones surrounding them. -NOTE- At no time should REIKI be intentionally used in the place of Veterinarians care- please always seek medical advice from professionals. REIKI is used as a support within a holistic team approach. Still have questions? or interested what a session might look like for your animal loved one? contact me today. Namaste Peeps! See more

Online has been a struggle for me... I connect so deeply with people that it is hard to not hold physical space together. But I am missing you all so much and I am going to give an online full moon gathering a go! We will see how it goes but it will give the opportunity to come together as we can until we can be together in person. Depending on how restrictions progress we can evaluate having a social distance gathering outside for this - which would be mega idea! If you have any questions don't hesitate to reach out!

This Covid journey has been a tough one for me. I had recently just done a major career shift - and was working through all the stages and feels that come with life event Grieving. Grieving the business I had so passionately created - grieving the loss of the small humans that filled my days... I was just settling into my new norm- and starting to embrace the wild woman dreams, realizing they were becoming more then just dream a but a solid reality. Till Covid. That whipla...shed me back to a raw place of grief - and once again I have been going through the feels and the stages- lemme tell you, twice in a few short months- my body wasn't ready, my heart wasn't ready, my mind wasn't ready- So I want to an icky place. I woke up today though and it felt a little different. I could feel my Wild side calling me, begging for me to just listen for a moment- and today, I didn't turn away and run. I pulled out my beads and made a Mala, this mala that will be my symbol of surviving the new changes and coming out a stronger, fiercely wild woman on the the other side of this Pandemic. Tomorrow I will be starting a 40 day SADHANA mantra practice - and I would love to support you on this journey too if it speaks to you. Sadhana - simply put, means a dedicated practice. It is committing to something for 40 days. For me I will be committing to a 40 day Mantra practice - getting to know myself, shifting routines and redeveloping a greater self accountability- a trust in myself. Each day I commit to my 108 repetitions of Chamundayai. Want to follow along? see what 40 days of mantra can manifest in you? PM for an invite to a private page where we will share a more sacred connection - a safe place to chant together, to share what comes up, and to help each other remain accountable.

Grief: Sometimes we can experience a form of Transference Grief. This was huge for me today, so I just wanted to take a moment to get real with this and share my experience. As some of you know, my community was shaken last week with the passing of a father and two sons in a car collision and the passing of a beautiful tiny soul who fought a fierce battle with cancer way too young. That’s a lot for one community in one week. I saw such a powerful outpouring of energies towa...rds those souls who transitioned, and those they left behind on earth’s plane. One of the boys who passed went to my son’s school, he was ALSO in French immersion Kindy, his birthday was 7 days before my son’s, his brother was the same age as my daughter AND if that isn’t close enough to home- his name was QUINN (RIP sweet boy, may your transitioning be met with ease). Today was my son’s birthday party with his friends from school - but it was also the memorial service of this beautiful family. This is where I really get to transference grief and the affect it can have on us. I really truly questioned if I should cancel Quinn’s party. It felt horrid and wrong for me to be having a party today to celebrate my boy turning 6, when within KMs of me another momma was saying good bye to HER (would have been 6 year old) Quinn. I spent some solid time in the yoga room on my meditation pillow tying to get real with what I should do. And then it came to me - not celebrating my boy was not allowing the gift of Quinn to live on. We do not get to decide (as a general rule) how long we walk this earth - please make sure you are celebrating the small things, the big things, and all of the things in between. Cherish your people and never stop celebrating them - the losses we experience and connect with around us should give us all the more reason to celebrate - not to dampen that joy for what is still in front of us.
