BC Hydro First Aid Competition 2014 Another great year for Trauma Tech at the BC Hydro Safety Rodeo! Once again the first aid competition was a huge success. We even had Jessica McDonald, the new CEO of BC Hydro, participate as a patient this year! A big thanks to Megan and Ryan Nicholson for another amazing makeup job. You can tell from the photo's that they freaked out some of the competitors, which is awesome! Also a big thanks to the Trauma Tech team: Pam Turnbull, Diane ...Martin, Gina Dhaliwal and Liz Gilbert. You guys rocked it! Finally, the biggest thank you goes to Shanelle Lachowich who was our amazing patient who acted as though her foot had been completely amputated by a severe electrocution. That was no easy task since she had to be fully packaged in blankets on a hot sunny day in Surrey. She did an absolutely perfect job! Looking forward to next year!

Hello Trauma Tech Students! We need two more competitors for this Saturdays BC Hydro First Aid Competition. This is a super fun way to test your skills. There will be a brief CPR skill competition and then a 30 minute major trauma and/or medical scenario. There will be two teams of three for each 30 minute scenario.
