I do not have a strong enough heart to write more than one post; so here’s exactly what I wrote on my personal account as well... Yesterday, we said I love you one last time to our favourite girl. My house feels empty and my heart... well there’s no explaining that. Bebe, you were my unexpected gift. Not what I wanted at the time, but everything that I needed. You were perfect in every way and fit into our family so flawlessly. You became the boss of the house from the day ...you walked into it and somehow, you were able to put a smile on my face, no matter how horrible the day. I gave you my heart, knowing that we wouldn’t have forever; I’ll never regret that. You will forever be my Bee; my sunshine, my world. I will miss you forever. More than anything. I love you Bee - sleep tight xox

It’s time for a break! While we love sharing our life with you, we will be taking some time for the next week or two for ourselves. It’s time that you all met Kora Kora is definitely not up for adoption, but you will be seeing her face for quite a bit! While her momma sets up the perfect home for her, Kora is going to be staying with us. Kora has been enjoying hanging out with all the other dogs but her momma has also requested that we work on her diet Kora is such a sweet, little bean and is my newest dance partner, and I cannot wait for all of your dogs to meet her!

This weekend, not only did we get some new gear, but we also got to go on a nice nature walk with a really good friend of ours who refuses to move to Guelph to join us! That however, is a story for another day For today, look at how perfect her products are!! Each of the pups for a full set of their own to walk around with, and I even for something super exciting for myself Make sure to visit @dapper.dingo and put in your order if you haven’t already!

Last but not least, we would like to introduce you to Aspen! Aspen is a 5 year old GSD who has been used to living life on her own for some time now. Although she is used to this, she absolutely loves people and would love a family that would be willing to show her what unconditional love feels like! Aspen is good with dogs (although she is still learning appropriate behaviours around them), and is unknown with cats and kids although we will be testing her out with the...m! Aspen absolutely loves to play fetch and would spend all day outside of you let her. Aspen does have hip dysplasia which is something that her forever family would need to keep an eye on. She doesn’t seem to be bothered by it and is being put on supplements to help slow down any worsening of her condition. Adi came to visit us for a night this weekend and this time, he didn’t come alone! We welcomed his wild child sister, Olive, as well Theses two were so much fun to have visit, and I definitely think Dublin misses his newly found best friends already!

Next up arrived Miss. Stella Stella arrived to us after being transferred from another Ontario rescue who tried so hard to find her her forever family and after months of trying, decided that moving her to a new home might just be her lucky shot! Stella is a sweet sweet girl who is looking for a patient forever home with no dogs or cats and older kids only as she does need slow introductions. While we love being able to introduce you to our furry clients, I’m even more excited to introduce you to some of the dogs that we have done rescue intakes for Recently we opened @tangosleadcaninerescue and we have now taken in 5 dogs, all from shelters, who are searching for their much deserved second chance! First up is Oggy Oggy is a 10 year old lab mix who suffers from arthritis in his back end and is looking for the perfect ‘retirement’ home. Oggy is looking for... a home without dogs, cats or kids (he prefers a quiet home in his old age) and one where he will be allowed to sleep as much as he would like! Yesterday was a pj and couch sort of day The whether was gross, I had a headache and I was feeling the pressure of all the things I need to get done, so what did I do?... absolutely nothing! As much as I’m stressing about the fact that I didn’t get anything done, I needed a minute. I needed to breathe and give my dogs the love that they deserve We’re you productive this weekend? Today is a big day Today, we announced the official opening of my new rescue, Tango's Lead Canine Rescue & Sanctuary and at the end of the week, we have our very first intake! This may not sound like a big deal to some, but to me, this is everything that I have been dreaming of for years now! Although this rescue was created in honour of Tango, each of my dogs plays a huge role in who we are and what we will be. This boy right here, as I’m sure many of you know, has my... heart and has helped inspire me to make this rescue what it already has become! With the opening of the rescue, it is not just my dogs that I am thankful for - I am beyond grateful to have these lovely ladies in my life, and even more, that they are helping build this rescue into everything these dogs deserve! Kyrie had her first ever dog sitting experience this weekend and I am so happy to say that she was nearly perfect! She did decide to eat some horse poop on her hike and she pooped in the house once (my house so it is what it is) but otherwise, she was said to have been great on her walks and got/gave so many damn cuddles! I am curious, does anyone else have an issue with their dog pooping in the house if they go away? Kyrie seems to do it any time she’s watched by someo...ne new and only ever just on time...? This beautiful lady just got home from a groom with the one and only @groomedbydestiny and again, I am in awe Bebe looks, feels and smells so good! Her ears are silky smooth and her pants are trimmed up just perfectly!! I can’t say enough good things about the work Destiny does! It’s hard to be a groomer, not to mention the fact that she just groomed this 14.5 year old girl who looses strength in her back end every 8 seconds and barks your face off in the tub! ... This is my world When I make a decision, there are very few times where these four are not considered. Moving back to Guelph was the biggest decision for me so far this year and man did they ever play a huge role in that! One of the main reasons why I was so keen on moving back to Guelph was because I wanted them to have me at my happiest point and I had never been happier than when I was living in Guelph! So that was an easy decision for me.... I know some people think I’m crazy for owning four dogs, and I am, all thanks to these four kiddos of mine. Happy thanksgiving everyone! This year I have so much to be thankful for! Not only has this year been extra filled with dogs thanks to all of those who have entrusted me with your fur kids, but I have also been working hard with an amazing group of women to create an amazing and loving rescue for all the dogs that need us! Outside of the dog world, I have and incredible family and an amazing group of friends who support me in everything that I do. Not to mention, the a...mount of love and inspiration that each of them give me! Last but definitely not least, I’m thankful for each of my pups. Please for the love of my dogs.... Yesterday I went on a beautiful hike with these three! Although we had a great time, and everyone came home pooped, my walk was ruined not once but twice by owners who just didn’t seem to understand. I completely get that anyone and everyone can take their dogs on a hike and it’s their choice if they let them off leash or not. But when you see my three dogs listening to me, and all staying in down stays, off the path and in the bush so that ...you can pass, don’t tell me, don’t worry my girl just wants to play because she’s still young. I have a six-month-old puppy with me, that I’m sure would love to play, but he is with his pack and I’m not letting that happen. I don’t know your dog, and I’m taking care of mine and my clients dogs. The second time that the walk was ruined, and even more so than the first time, was when again we are passing someone with two dogs, I got mine into a down stay, and I said just so you know mine are not friendly. He did not have his dogs on the leash so he grab the tail of his one and told them to keep walking. Well, one of them came towards us and I again repeated mine are not friendly. For reference, all of mine are friendly but it’s just easier to say that to people to make sure my dogs stay safe! Sure enough the one started coming over to us and then the bigger one followed. Well did he not say, don’t worry about the big one he’s not the problem sometime she’ll stir up shit though Well then don’t you think it’s a good thing to get your dogs away from mine if I’m already seeing mine or not nice? So please, if you were walking your dogs and you were on a hike, make sure that your dogs don’t just run up to other dogs especially if the owners say no. It’s rude, and it can lead to a major problem. If your dog is not properly off leash trained, then I’m sorry to be the one to tell you, it should not be off leash. Im just trying to do my job of keeping these dogs safe! Thank you for reading my rant of the day

Dublin has settled in here quite well! He loves his crate which is perfect for when the older pups need a break from his puppy energy; even more importantly, he loves the kong treat he gets when he goes for crate time This cutie has been learning quite a bit about what it means to give dogs personal space. He loves to play but doesn’t fully understand how to appropriately do so, or how to take the hint when enough is enough.
