Made it onto the 7am ferry after about four hours of sleep. Packing at the last minute seems to be my thing, but I don’t like it. Do you prepare well ahead, or are you a last minute packer like me?

A little last minute prepping of the Triumph, then off to Nelson, BC first thing in the morning for the Kootenay Rat Raid! The Kootenay Rat Raid is a gathering of Triumph motorcycle enthusiasts from BC and beyond. This will be my first time at this event, I'm looking forward to it!

I have done very little with this page, that makes me sad. I once had high hopes for it. I wanted to travel the world and share my experiences. Since I set this page up, I haven't really been anywhere. I'm also not sure that I have anything interesting to say or show. Perhaps I should shut it down, or should I try again? I started a travel writing course in 2012, I got about 1/2 way through. I'd like to finish it. Some dreams die hard.... Anyway, here's a story that I wrote for the course eight years ago. Is it a dream worth pursuing? Or should I just walk away and leave the dream in a smouldering heap with all the rest? I don't know.
