Covid Travel to Mexico Part 2 Upon returning to Calgary everyone went thru Customs first as usual and then collected their luggage, from there right out the arrival doors you Declare if you are doing the 2 day covid test or 14 day. They ask you to fill out a form and stand in one or two lines, one line is for connecting flights and the other is for leaving at Calgary, although even at 9pm at night they have lots of staff, one that takes your alberta health info and another t...hat administers the throat swab, once that is done you are off. If you are on a connecting flight do not doddle or you will miss your flight, make sure you have at least 2 hours before your connecting flight because you need to check in your luggage still. Less than one day we got our results of Negitive and were free to leave the house. For those returning on Christmas eve i have low expectations for results as quick, once you get the email or text from Alberta Health saying you are Negitive you need to book right away for your follow up covid test 6-7 days later. I booked immediately and was only able to get us booked in for 8 days later due to Christmas Holidays shutdown of the Shoppers Drug Mart, not all do it but the list they give you will show you which ones do.
