Little change of pace this weekend! We setup a fun lemonade stand at @stacktmarket with @unclexstudios ! Glenda's first time in the big city and she did alright!

We couldn't have asked for a better weekend to dust off our old gal Glenda and get her back in business. Lake front weddings are definitely high up on the list of favourite locations (aside from constantly wanting to jump in for a swim, is that just us?) and this weekend was no exception. Congratulations Stephen and Ashlee, you put together a beautiful day and we were so happy we could help bring it all together! COVID has had a major impact on large gatherings and we are happy that people are still finding fun ways to celebrate these milestones with their friends and family. On tap we we had @drinkwillibald Party House Special IPA and two of their gin based cocktails, all of which were huge hits with the guests and kept them coming back all night long!

Honestly, we weren't too sure about the Espressonic when we took our first few sips. It's an interesting combination of the bitterness and acidity of the coffee and lemon, and the sweetness and tang from the tonic and simple syrup. To make a long story short for instagram, it has definitely grown on us and it's a fun and refreshing way to enjoy a bit off coffee during the day. We'll likely be enjoying a few of them tomorrow and Sunday as we venture back into events with our ...first intimate, socially distanced wedding of the season this weekend! 30/60 ml espresso 10 ml simple syrup Pour over ice, top with tonic water and garnish with a lemon slice!

What a summer it has (or hasn't) been. It's been a while since we showed our face around these parts, but we're back! The weather has been gorgeous, the sunny days have us reminiscing on last year's weddings and really feeling for our 2020 couples who have had to postpone their big days. COVID has definitely thrown a wrench in everyone's plans, though we are excited about the potential for life to start looking a little bit more normal. We never really closed, but we will be ...opening Glenda back up in August for smaller events, putting social distancing measures in place and following all safety procedures to keep our clients, guests and staff safe!
