#travelinsurance It’s actually not that scary as it’s made out to be. A few things to keep in mind: 1. The cheapest policy is not necessary the best and is worthless if it doesn’t give you the correct coverage you need. ... 2. Know you’re health - do you have current or recent medical conditions. 3. Know your trip - are you needing cancellation and interruption coverage as well as medical? 4. Know your policy - ask questions about stability requirements. Read the exclusions. Know who and where you are calling in the event of an emergency. Is the coverage paying up front or are you and then having to get reimbursed? I think a big problem is we as consumers don’t think about Travel insurance the same way we do about our house, car or auto insurance, which unfortunately can have us finding out we don’t have adequate coverage when we need it. Hope this helps!
