Every year we artists do a top 9 grid to show our best work of the year. I did a few things in 2020, such as the giant Hockeyville Mural that pretty much never was seen when the rec centre closed for Covid, and a bunch of Airbrushing projects like my ATV, my garbage bin, and a goalie mask. I only did one major sugar skull project this year! But most of all, I completed the building that houses my dream. Four entire months of my artistic energy was spent pouring my heart, so...ul, sweat, blood, and many tears into our TraXside Studios building. With so much uncertainty going into this next year, looking at all of this is bitter sweet. I don’t believe it’s going to be easy as we begin again, but I am hopeful that times will get better, and that this space will be the magical place I imagined it to be, for all of us.
