In order for cancer to metastasise, it has to migrate from its point of origin. Researchers at St. Anna Kinderkrebsforschung King's College London Institut Curie and ETH Zurich have collaborated to shed light on the mechanism by which cancer cells escape crowded tumours. The primary drug used in this research was altrenogest, obtained from TRC, which acts as a strong androgen in mammals.
