*Please note there are two different performance times each day. : & :* Enjoy the magnificent sound of a brass ensemble! Our brass section presents three diverse selections beginning with the somber Queen Mary Funeral Music by Henry Purcell, followed by two pieces by Giovanni Gabrieli: Canzon per Sonare No. 2, and Sonata pian’e forte. Then, for something completely different, we present three beautiful pieces for strings: Voyage by John Corigliano, Divertimento in B... flat KV 137 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and Serenade for Strings by Edward Elgar. With Covid-19 being top of mind this year, we will be hosting concerts according to BC Provincial Health guidelines, including (but not limited to): A maximum of 50 patrons per performance. Physical distancing in the concert venue. Clean and sanitized concert hall and furniture. All patrons required to wear a mask when entering and exiting the concert hall. In the event of heightened Covid-19 restrictions, the Prince George Symphony Orchestra reserves the right to cancel or postpone a concert. Ticket holders will be notified of any changes and will have the option to accept the changes or receive a refund. #prestigetreasurecove #pgso #princegeorge
