Something that has always been popular at the shop is vintage and antiques books. We've got a bunch of really interesting local classics including The Fighting Newfoundlander, a Joey Smallwood signed copy of the first volume of Encyclopedia of Newfoundland & Labrador, and others. I've got a couple sets of 30 year old uncut hockey cards - both sets include every card from the year, printed on 3 huge sheets as they come from the printers before being cut down to make the cards. The 1984 set sell for $700+ online routinely, that year was a big year for hockey with Steve Yzerman's rookie and it was a year when cards weren't being bought in massive numbers so they're more rare. I'd like to get $400 for the 1984 set. There is also a 1989 set available for $75. I've had both of these since the years they came out, so they're one owner sets ready for new a new home.
