If you have lots of blocks this is a fun pose. It feels like you are floating.
I’m yoga’s number 1 fan, but it’s not the only kind of movement I do - because it doesn’t give a body EVERYTHING it needs for optimal health (no single movement... practice can). A traditional yoga practice can actually leave you very imbalanced - which is ironic for a practice that’s all about balance. Yoga has an abundance of shoulder-pushing movements (planks, downward dogs, chaturangas) but no complementary shoulder-pulling movements. The result: a functional strength imbalance in our shoulders that can lead to injury. It’s very easy to remedy the problem. Just incorporate more pulling movements into your movement repertoire. Here I’m demonstrating a Warrior I tricep press back and Parsvottanasana row. I’m getting my pull training in, and it still feels like yoga! I that!
