Death of the day (Día de muertos) October 31st: A new candle is lit, another glass is filled with water, a new white bread is baked with a single fruit placed. This is for our ancestors. November 1st: This is all saints day, the date in which the angels who perished as a child. In this day the food is placed in the offering. November 2nd: This day is known as the day of the Faithful Departed. On this day adults that have passed away come to pick up and eat the offering placed by their love ones. Copañ incense is lit up and a pathway made with Marigold petals is positioned to guide them.
