Rough day out there ain't it? Although we will be open today, I know a number of people could be snowed in. Please call/e-mail/text us so that we can reschedule your appointments if it's too dangerous to drive. Happy shovelling!

Ever been told to "SIT UP STRAIGHT" ? Here is an interesting research article I came across that suggests: "The next time you are feeling down, consider that it may be your stooped posture that keeps your spirits from going up." Try it. It works. But if you're still having trouble with your posture I'm always here to help ... Dr. Nenos

FYI. Regarding the "stay-at-home" order "decrees that people must remain home 'with exceptions for essential purposes, such as going to the grocery store or pharmacy, ACCESSING HEALTH-CARE SERVICES,' for exercise or for essential work. IE Tree of Life Chiropractic will remain OPEN with the same lockdown measures we imposed last June. Our office never came out of lockdown for a reason. Try not to sacrifice your health and wellness while the government figures things out. Stay healthy my friends. https://www.thespec.com//ontario-has-issued-a-stay-at-home

Since the pandemic, it's been difficult for many of our wonderful front line workers working in the COVID-19 departments to return. I just want you all to know that you are in our thoughts and thank you for your service in this difficult time. We are always committed to your health and wellness. Tree of Life Chiropractic will be here when you are ready to return. We salute our fellow nurses, doctors, and healthcare staff! ~Dr. Nenos

Keep your new year's resolutions simple. This year my new year's resolution is to be more grateful. Show gratitude and many of the negative emotions you experience will fade away. So allow me to say this. THANK YOU to all of our amazing practice members that have helped us continue to deliver the best Chiropractic care even during the C-virus chaos. Without your trust and support, Tree of Life Chiropractic would not be what it is. So thank you again. I am eternally grateful... for trusting our office with your health care needs. Love and appreciate you all. Dr. Nenos

Hello friends, I understand some are still confused about the lockdown starting Monday and whether it will impact health care services. Just a reminder that we are OPEN all of next week December 21-24th. Then closing for 1 week starting Christmas Day for holidays (not because of a lockdown).... Regulated health professionals which includes chiropractors are allowed to operate under the provincial framework. Please note that we never relaxed the lockdown measures at Tree of Life Chiropractic since opening in June. We have been voluntarily operating within a lockdown framework for everyone’s safety even when we could admit more people. As you can see, for good reason. We will remain open and continue serving our practice members safely through these difficult times. Health care is essential. Always. Dr Nenos

Dear patients: Whether it's RED ZONE, yellow zone, or grey zone. Unless our office specifically calls you to tell you otherwise we are OPEN. The city did a terrible job of explaining to its citizens what the colour zones all mean. You’ll be surprised to learn that almost everything is still open and they are just asking everyone to limit crowded places to 10 people. Tree of Life Chiropractic is not one of those places. Each patient has a designated time slot and we have 1 way traffic in the building. Contact is VERY limited. Except of course with me . Health care is essential never forget it.

It's that time of year for the annual, archaic, health compromising tradition of turning your clocks back 1 hour. Please remember to adjust your clocks. No pun intended. - Dr. Nenos

If you've been following the research on Vitamin D3 lately you'll know why it's important now more than ever to have optimal vitamin D3 levels in the body. Good news! This essential supplement is now available in the clinic. Ask the staff for details and the doctor for the appropriate amount to take.

We'd like to take this time and wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving! Even in all the chaos there's a lot to be thankful for. Tree of Life Chiropractic is OPEN on Thanksgiving Day (October 12th) from 7:45 AM to 12:00 PM. #thanksgiving

I'm going to rant a little. Ask yourself this question. Why is nobody talking about the significant role Vitamin D could play right now especially if you're deficient? This is what happens when cancel culture seeps into medicine and health. Nobody is trying to have a conversation about the benefits of potentially life altering therapies that are cheaper and less invasive than what is currently being proposed. Instead, the naysayers quickly deflect and create a straw man argu...ment stating that people are being misled to believe that claims about the treatment of a disease are being made, which is a flat out lie. In the office, we continue to physically distance, ensure one way traffic and limit the number of people in the building at one time. We have air purifiers on 24 hrs a day (even if they don't trap SARS it significantly improves air quality). We sanitize our equipment after each use. Everything is done to provide a VERY safe environment while you are here. But what about when you leave the office? Shouldn't you know if there are more things you can do to lower your risk? Literally everything we do in the office is to help promote health and healing and restore function so you can live your best life. Period.

Actively searching for and addressing the cause of a problem leads to significantly better outcomes than merely numbing the symptoms. The former approach may take longer to achieve but you'll be happier with the end result. This is true both in health and in life. As your Chiropractor, this has always been my top priority. Fear Zone -> Learning Zone -> Growth Zone. What zone are you in? If you're still stuck in the fear zone, what do you think your stress levels are at? How long can you sustain that level of stress? Will there be consequences to your health as a result? ... Break the shackles. Release yourself from the self-imposed prison you are in (in your mind). Be smart. Think critically. Focus on things you have control over and stop dwelling on things you do not. For the record, I am with you. These are hard times and even I am feeling the effects of it. But there are things you can do now to re-take control of your life and health. If you don't, it will be dictated to you. Tree of Life Chiropractic practice members are lions. Not sheep .
