Ways to get involved: 1) Take the survey... 2) Contribute to the mapping tool 3) Participate in the discussion forum 4) Attend an online presentation 5) Take a self-guided walking tour or virtual tour See more

Did you know it is National Forest week From September 20 26, 2020? This year’s theme is Healthy Forests, Healthy Future! Healthy trees make healthy forests. Healthy forest makes healthy people. And healthy people make healthy communities. You can celebrate this week by: 1. Take a walk in woods nearby and get to know your forest. This could be in a park, a Provincial Forest, or an urban forest in your own community. 2. Nominate a Tree for Heritage Status. Know a spec...ial tree that deserves official recognition? http://treeswinnipeg.org/manitoba-heritage-trees/ 3. Plant a tree! Or care for the trees already planted. This is a great way to learn about different tree species in your neighbourhood and community.
