tentree celebrates planting 50 million trees with a video that, for every share, plants another tree. To provide the perspective of tree-planting and its impact, the planting of 50 million trees equates to: millions of tonnes of CO2 removed from the atmosphere 500,000 hours of work provided to lift entire communities out of poverty 5,000 hectares of land reforested (that’s equal to 12,000 football fields)... Ecosystems restored around the world Fewer wildfires and floods Keep the tree planting going. Please share. #treeplanting #environment #plantatree

The Scandinavian known Lingonberry answers to many names. Some call it cowberry or foxberry. Here in North America, we prefer to call it Bog Cranberry. Lingonberries have single blooms with bright green leaves. Plants may spread 3 feet in width and form a dense mat, which makes it attractive as an ornamental ground cover. In Newfoundland, they harvest over 200,000 lb of wild Bog Cranberries each year. Harvest of wild fruit can no longer keep up with demand. In Europe, they ha...rvest 80 million pounds per year of this crop from the wild. Bog Cranberry flowers are similar in shape to those of blueberry and may be white or pink. These berries are highly flavoured, but not as tart as cranberries. #treetimeca #treetalkthursday #lingonberries
