Sweepstakes launched to support local business and shop safe! Trent Hills, Ontario - The Trent Hills Chamber of Commerce is launching a Stay Safe and Thank You for Making a Difference Sweepstakes to garner support for businesses that have adapted to provide online, pick-up and delivery service methods. With the Provincial lockdown measures it’s especially important to support local businesses at a time when they need our help the most, said Lori Schuett, Chair of the Trent... Hills Chamber of Commerce. This new campaign also acknowledges the tremendous support that businesses receive from our local economy and how much it is appreciated. The Stay Safe Sweepstakes involves making a purchase at a participating business where your goods or services are purchase/delivered online, you pick-up your order, or use take-out services or delivery options. Find the Gold-Prize ticket with your purchase and you will win a minimum $25 gift card from that business. Plus, you will automatically receive 10 entries into the Grand Prize draw when you call the Chamber to claim your Gold-Prize Ticket. The Sweepstakes includes several ways to win with instant prizes, weekly prizes and a Grand Prize $1,000 Trent Hills Shopping Spree. Prize package is valued at more than $3,500. There are more ways to support a business beyond making a purchase, said Nancy Allanson, Executive Director of the Chamber. Your recommendations are a powerful tool to promote a business. Your social media shares, online reviews and word-of-mouth testimonials go a long way to supporting a small business. The Thank You for Making a Difference Sweepstakes provides an opportunity for a no-purchase entry into the weekly drawing and grand prize draw. Provide 25-word testimonial and you will receive an entry into a random draw for one of two $25 gift certificates from a Trent Hills business of your choosing. You will also be entered into the $1,00 Grand Prize Shopping Spree draw. The Sweepstakes begins on Friday, January 8 and runs through to Sunday, February 21. Sweepstake details, official rules, entry forms, participating businesses, and updated hours and protocols for businesses can be found at www.buylocalTrentHills.ca or by contacting the Chamber at 705-653-1551 or [email protected]
