Happy Thanksgiving to all! ... and many thanks to those who made this past paddling season a safe and successful one for the Club and community: The Board: Angela Hall, Cynthia Millington James, Cheryl Drumm, Christian Jaehn-Kreibaum, Sue Houston, Suzanne Andrews, Mike Roussakis (Cheryll and Christian were also our dedicated group paddle leaders) Our employees: Brynne Kioke (July and August), David Shuter (September)... Debby Heard, for laundering our cleaning rags so we always had a good supply. All the members who supported the club. All the volunteers who helped get the dock in and out. All those who came out to enjoy a paddle, who invariably, did their best to ensure that safety protocols were followed in consideration of all users and the employees. Celebrate! Stay safe!

So long as the weather cooperates the club will operate this year until September 26 when the dock is coming out of the water. 2 Group paddles and 3 days of open hours per week will give members a chance to get out and enjoy the water. Rentals continue to be available to non-members Thursday to Saturday, they can be booked through the website www.trentonrowingandpaddling.ca

Hello to all! I truly hope everyone is having a wonderful summer. The weather has been so GREAT with lots of sun filled days and beautiful sunsets. Hopefully quite a few a more to come... Well, we are into our last week of August so I just wanted to touch base as we move into September... ... The Clubhouse plan is to have the evening group paddles on Wednesday's and Thursday's. Please be sure to sign up on line by 12 noon on the day of the paddle or the paddle will be cancelled. Please be at the clubhouse by 5:30 pm as launch is at 6 pm sharp We will likely have to be off the water by 7:15 ish as we start to lose light. Open hours are currently set for the month of September on Thursday, Friday and Saturday's. Please watch the FB page and website for the September schedule. These open hours will be subject to change based on usage. Dock out is scheduled for Saturday September 26 @ 10 am. We would like to get as much help as possible as there are other tasks that need attention. The Clubhouse will need to be swept out and we need quite a bit of weeding done around the building. If you can assist on September 26 @ 10 am in any way please let me know your availability. All hands on deck are welcome. Thanks everyone! Kindest Regards, Sue Houston
