Rachel & Daniel got married on December 29, 2019, a beautiful winter day! The majority of our meetings took place over zoom because they lived in Budapest, Hungary (where all my grandparents and my mom were born). Rachel came to Canada twice during the wedding planning process where we packed in as many meetings as we could with as many vendors as we could. It was like running a marathon. The rest we did over video chat. This wedding took place over Chanukah and I loved that ...we were able to incorporate the lighting of the Menorah as well as serve Latkes as part of the late night goodies. It’s so fun when couples want to do things that are important to them at their weddings. I recently caught up with Rachel & Daniel and here is what they had to say: 1. What's your favourite memory from your wedding? Getting married! Yes, we're sappy, but our ceremony was meaningful to us. Even though it was in front of friends and family, there were special moments and looks shared just between the two of us, in those moments when we were becoming husband and wife. Those are ours, and very special to us. A fun moment from before our wedding was when we were being kept in separate rooms (before our first look) but we caught a peak of each other when I was quickly passing by his room. We pretended we didn't see each other, but laugh about it a lot today. 2. If you had to choose between getting married with less people or postpone everything, which would you choose and why? We would get married with fewer people. The point is to get married, to start our family together. It was so special to have all those who joined us for our wedding in the room with us, but they would have been in our hearts regardless. Especially Nowadays with the technology that we have, there are many ways to include all loved ones without putting anyone at risk. Also, we have several family members and friends who have changed their plans and had smaller ceremonies and online events. They were all special and meaningful to each couple. And what a story it is to tell! 3.What are you most looking forward to when the quarantine is over? We are looking forward

Wendy & Stefan got married on May 18, 2019. It was a perfect spring day for an outdoor ceremony and a photo shoot with a horse. So far, they are the only couple that I have worked with who gave me an About us document at our first meeting (before they hired me). It had info about the 2 of them, logistics for their wedding that they wanted to discuss, key points about what they wanted for their wedding & questions they wanted me to answer. Needless to say this made me VERY h...appy and I couldn’t wait to work with them. I recently caught up with these two and here is what they had to say: 1. What's your favourite memory from your wedding? Wendy: My favourite memory would be when our friends lifted us up for the photo op! This was into the night after a few drinks and let’s just say it wasn’t easy to coordinate! Stefan: Taking the horse photos was a fun challenge for someone who’s not worked with horses before. Let’s just say, horses have a mind of their own. 2. How does the stress of wedding planning compare with the stress of living with your partner during the quarantine? The good thing with wedding planning anxiety is that there is an end to the stress. We’ve been living together for a few years prior to marriage, so living during quarantine has been a smooth transition and little stress! In the past few months, we both have been working from home, and with the upgrade from renting a condo to our own house, we have our own corners set up for work! In general we are homebodies, but now that it’s been a few months of the quarantine, we do crave the kind of social interactions we had pre-covid. 3. What have you been doing with your spouse to occupy your time during the quarantine? The quarantine in many ways has been a blessing for us. We’ve had more time for self care and to revisit our priorities. For the most part, we’ve been focusing on our health through home workout sessions and home cooked food. We’ve continued to stay in touch with our family/friends through online game sessions and frequent calls/check ins. Quality time is important for both of us, whether it be netflix and chill or working through home reno projects!

Congratulations to this gorgeous couple who were able to get married this past Saturday. Jen, Jeremy & I had been planning this wedding for a year and a half and for them getting married on their chosen date was more important than having the big wedding we originally planned. The reduced Guest count still had an amazing time as we put together a very entertaining reception even though there was no dancing & complete social distancing. We had the perfect team of vendors in p...lace to make sure this wedding was as normal as can be. It was a great day and I’m so happy that these two could still celebrate with friends and family. This proved that love isn’t cancelled! Wishing Jen and Jeremy a lifetime of happiness together. #weddingplanner #torontoweddingplanner #torontowedding #gettingmarried #wedding #torontobride #torontogroom #bride #groom #wedding2020 #wedding2021 #newlyengaged #engaged #bridetobe #groomtobe #happycouple #married #instawedding #trevents See more

On Saturday I worked my first wedding since the pandemic hit. I had 29 events scheduled for 2020. 4 happened, 7 cancelled & 18 postponed to next year. The event world has taken a huge hit this year as has my dream job. On the bright side, this is the first summer where I didn’t have to work every weekend and I’m already hard at work planning weddings for next year and beyond. Hopefully by then couples will be able to celebrate like normal and with all of their loved ones in ...one room! We have heard a lot of stories in the news about weddings not following the rules but ALL COVID-19 guidelines were put into place and adhered to at this event. I’m so grateful to everyone involved for putting on an amazing event while keeping everyone safe and comfortable. #weddingplanner #torontoweddingplanner #torontowedding #quarantine #quarantinewedding #covidwedding #covidweddingplanning #gettingmarried #wedding #torontobride #torontogroom #bride #groom #wedding2020 #wedding2021 #newlyengaged #engaged #bridetobe #groomtobe #happycouple #married #instawedding #trevents

I found another picture of me with horses . This was the best: the groom surprised his bride-to-be with a horse drawn carriage to bring her to see him for their first look. She had no idea. I love when I get to be a part of a surprise. #2017 #weddingplanner #torontoweddingplanner #torontowedding #quarantine #quarantinewedding #covidwedding #covidweddingplanning #gettingmarried #wedding #torontobride #torontogroom #bride #groom #wedding2020 #wedding2021 #newlyengaged #engaged #bridetobe #groomtobe #happycouple #married #instawedding #trevents #weddingconfessions

Take me back to 1 year ago when I planned Melissa’s EPIC masquerade birthday bash. Remember when we wore a different kind of mask to a party? Happy birthday Melissa! @revosphotos #eventplanning #eventplanner

Veronica & Fabrizio were married on June 15, 2019. We planned this wedding for just over a year and a half which made this couple so relaxed throughout the wedding planning process. One of my favourite memories of this wedding was the Mariachi band we hired to entertain the guests. I recently caught up with these two and here is what they had to say: 1. What's your favourite memory from your wedding? Our Favourite Memory is our First Dance, we wanted to do something unique ...that neither of us had ever done! and of course made it a challengeby not justchoosing 1 song but combining 3 songs into one! Those dance classes were so muchfun and being able to show our families what we accomplished was amazing! 2. How does the stress of wedding planning compare with the stress of livingwith your partner during the quarantine? Surprisingly, Both planning the Wedding and being in Quarantine have been very stressfree! (Helps with a chill bride hahaha) The wedding was stressfree Thanks to you Trevor and your amazing wedding planning skills and living together in quarantine has been a breeze, I spend my day working from home and Fab spends most of his day Working out ;), so were barely in eachothersface, the toughest thing is deciding what to have for dinner every single day :) 3. What are you most lookingforward to when the quarantine is over? Ekk.! So many things we look forward to when this is all over but the main one is seeing all our Friends and Family!, we truly miss seeing everyone and Can't wait to be able to go out for Drinks (and Celebrate the events that happenedover the quarantine period that we couldn'tcelebrate the normal way, many to list off but include; My 30th! and our 1 year anniversary) and of course we can't wait to travel again! (we were planning a trip but put it on pause).

Danielle & Cameron got married on September 1, 2017. They had a beautiful ceremony with Lake Ontario as their backdrop. I loved that they ended the night with a Hora and neither of them are Jewish. I recently caught up with these 2 wonderful humans (who are now raising another wonderful human) and here is what they had to say: 1. What's your favourite memory from your wedding? Favourite memory from the wedding is definitely dinner and the food, especially the late night sn...ack of breakfast skillet with poached eggs and hollandaise sauce! We get so many compliments on it still! 2. How does the stress of wedding planning compare with the stress of livingwith your partner during the quarantine? Wedding planning was not terribly stressful for us (at least not after we hired you), and it was exciting and fun most of the time! Living at home nonstop with a baby definitely has it's challenges though, especially in a one bedroom apartment! 3. What are you most lookingforward to when the quarantine is over? We are most looking forward to seeing friends and family and going out to activities with our daughter again! @revosphotos

Steph & Greg we’re married on August 13, 2016. They were my very first Full Wedding Planning couple. This was one of the most memorable weddings that I have been a part of because it took place in a backyard during what felt like a hurricane. Their mantra for the day why get mad? There is nothing we can do about it. We are creating memories. Love it. I recently caught up with these new parents and here is what they had to say: 1. What's your favourite memory from your wed...ding? Favourite memory from the wedding was the torrential rain and all our friends and family having a blast and enjoying the moment. Even though everything was falling apart at the seams, it was such an amazing party people still talk about! 2. If you had to choose between getting married with less people or postpone everything, which would you choose and why? Greg: Get married with less people! Cause that’s what we kinda did and it was great! Steph: depends on the venue, deposits. 3. What are you most lookingforward to when the quarantine is over? The quarantine started about 5 days after we came home from the hospital with our new baby Sullivan, we haven’t seen anyone outside of our 3 person bubble since mid March. So family and friends are top of the list! A doctors checkup to make sure Sully is all good would be nice too...we had no idea what we were doing at the start.

KIDS! And to finish off this week's kids themed posts I introduce you to Carson. Carson and I bonded during the wedding planning process for his parents New Year's Eve wedding. His parents asked him if he wanted to say anything during their speech at the wedding, he took over the mic and said Thank you Trev. That’s all. We are still best buds to this day! I love my job and the people I meet along the way. Wishing Carson and all the other kids going back to school an easy and safe transition. KIDS! I love these pre-ceremony pep talks with the kiddies before sending them to walk down the aisle. Seeing the excitement in their eyes & their own satisfaction on their faces when they get to the end is so gratifying. Some kids just love the spotlight. Hopefully everyone’s kids are safe as we venture into a new era of education! KIDS! They can be cute and funny at weddings and can also throw tantrums moments before they walk down the aisle. Ya never know what you’re going to get. Wishing all the kids good luck, safety & health this week and next week when returning back to school. Tanya & Dan were married on October 13, 2018. I loved being a part of this wedding because I have known Tanya for 20 years. We used to work together and stayed in touch over social media. I was so honoured when she reached out to help her with her wedding. I have added an extra picture to this post of me and Tanya in 2000 and 2018. For their wedding they had flown their flowers in from Barbados and they were like nothing I’ve ever seen before at a wedding. VERY cool! SO tropi...cal. I recently caught up with these two love birds and here is what they had to say: 1. What's your favourite memory from your wedding? When Dan gave his speech at the reception, I was so shocked but loved every minute of it, definitely a mic drop! 2. If you had to choose between getting married with less people or postpone everything, which would you choose and why? We would definitely postpone as we would want all of our family and friends to be there. 3. What are you most looking forward to when the quarantine is over? Can't wait to be able to travel!!! @ Pearson Convention Center

Julia & Brandon were married on October 21, 2016. This couple just ooozed with passion for each other! We bonded over our mutual love of the tv show Friends. Could their dogs BE any cuter?! I recently caught up with these love birds and here is what they had to say: 1. If you could have done one thing differently at your wedding what would it be? We would have hired a videographer to capture the day! That is our one and only regret.... 2. If you had to choose between getting married with less people or postpone everything, which would you choose and why? Such a tough question! I think we would choose to get married with less people, as long as the most important to us could attend. 3. What is your favourite tv show or movie that you have watched during the quarantine? Tiger King or Ford V Ferrari! @ Manor ByPeterandPauls.com

Hava and Mike were married on August 21, 2016. They were my very first Jewish Wedding (and definitely not my last). One of my favourite parts was watching the excitement brew before the newlyweds were introduced into one of the wildest Horas I’ve seen to date. They were carried into the room on chairs by their wedding party. I recently caught up with Hava & Mike and here is what they had to say: 1. Do you have any exciting news to share since your wedding? Exactly a month a...fter we got married, Hava lost her job. The very next day, Mike was downsized (after Hava had joked that morning "Have a good day at work, and don't lose your job")! We took it as a blessing in disguise and used the time off to take a month-long honeymoon in Zambia, Namibia, South Africa and Lesotho. Just before COVID, we did another epic trip to Brazil & Argentina for 4 weeks in Dec-Jan. 2. If you had to choose between getting married with less people or postpone everything, which would you choose and why? We would postpone everything. We wouldn't want anyone to feel unsafe or worried about getting sick on our account. Our wedding was a super fun, huge party, with an epic horah and over 200 friends & family. There is nothing like the feeling of celebrating your relationship with all the people you love most in the world. 3. What is your favourite tv show or movie that you have watched during the quarantine? While we do enjoy watching TV together, we have this terrible tendency where one of us gets very into a show and tells the other they should watch and then they don't, eventually we cave, and of course end up loving the show! To that effect, Mike recommends Money Heist and Hava recommends Little Fires Everywhere. @ Beth Tikvah Synagogue Toronto
