RANT This is my 2nd biggest pet peeve when I'm photographing someones wedding. The officiant even asked everyone to turn the cell phones off and essentially sit back and enjoy the moment. ... Why I'm posting this is for two reasons...#1, I asked her calmly and politely to put down the iPad. #2, it looks like SH!T and its in most of the isle photos. If you are having a wedding please ask your officiant to to make an announcement to the people who are guests..."PUT AWAY YOUR ELECTRONIC DEVICES!!!" If you are a guest at the wedding - please let us professionals get what we are hired to do. There will be moments for you to get that shot (and be the first on social media if you really need to be). But with a giant iPad when the bride and her father are walking down the isle....and I can see your reflection as clear as day....SMH
