Out with the old... In with the new! For the oil pump install, I decided to fully drop the pan. Which is a pain on a 4th gen. Haha. But, like I said, cover all grounds, proper prep, and no leaking. Also allows for proper alignment of the oil pickup tube o ring. I also went ahead and checked the Rods, as over revs can cause stretched bolts. Also installed the updated cam cover plate, and recessed hardware. Oil pan and pick up tube were cleaned of any debris. @ Cornwall, Ontario

Stuart brought brought his 4th gen Camaro to me with an Engine tick. I basically knew what it was, but wanted to diagnose. Stew was already looking to do a cam upgrade, but the tick was pretty bad and I had my suspensions. LS's are known to bend pushrods easily, and for the lifters to start making noises or collapse. Well, once the covers were off, I found the worst pushrod I have ever seen, without being snapped! Right away I knew a lifter tray would be cracked, and possible... PTV impact. Scoped the lifter hole, and fair enough, cracked tray. Got super lucky it didn't spin a lifter! Unfortunately had to give the bad news on the job doubling in size. Once the heads were off, the PTV issues were also confirmed. 5 intake valves had mad contact. Again, supper lucky didn't drop a Valve! So I came up with a plan, and the parts were ordered to get it running stronger than ever. @ Cornwall, Ontario

Happy to announce that I have made the decision to get back into the tunning game via HPTuners. After completing a large project that would need tunning, I realized it was best for me to invest in my own setup and offer services that are currently unavailable locally. This will give me the ability to clean up drivablity and idle tunes for clients, so we can safely drive the cars to a chassis dyno for WOT tunning, without having to trailer them. It will also cut down the time ...spent on the dyno as I will already have clean base maps built prior to full throttle runs. Once things start to progress, so will services such as sensor deletes and damping, removal of non essential systems, module programing, vin rewriting, transmission tuning, etc. Super excited to get back into this for both street cars and track/race cars.
