If you want to upgrade your certification or you’re new to baseball and want to take some coach training...head to their website! With the covid world we are living in classes can be now be taken from the comfort of your couch with interactive modules so it can’t get much easier. ... We highly recommend taking the courses as they provide many wonderful tools for coaches of all levels and even those parents who help out occasionally. Development is a huge part of a successful organization and that is why we encourage our members to take the courses. It’s also why we reimburse our members for their coach training... It’s kind of poetic that after not having baseball all spring and summer that we start fall ball during National Coaches Week! To many, coaches are more than just a person who runs a team for an event. Coaches are mentors, confidant’s, supporters and friends. There is so much love for the game and effort that goes in behind the scenes that a lot of people don’t get to see. ... They are stewards of sport in their community’s, providing a safe place for kids to have fun, learn and create lasting memories. We’d love to say hug a coach or give one a high five this week but in this covid world...send them an email, text or virtual high five! Let them know that you appreciate what they do... Fall ball has arrived! Our first games of the year were played down at JDF yesterday and word is there were a lot of happy individuals! We just wanted to take a moment to thank everybody for their patience the last few months as we had to work through a lot of red tape off the field to get the kids on the field. The new normal is different, but it is what it is.
