I had the pleasure of working on this beautiful 65 Deluxe Reverb this week. This is not a reissue - it is the real deal, and beautifully kept. All original except the speaker and electrolytic caps. Just a beauty. All it needed was the bias set and the controls cleaned out. I just love working on classics like this!

...well, it's been a hot minute since I've posted anything here (over 2yrs!!). However after bringing this Supro Tremoverb back to life, I just had to share. What a killer little amp! Trem and reverb - at 5watts of power, this thing sings when dimed. Anyway, now that we are here - how have you been?

A good client of mine has this beautiful 1964 Bandmaster for sale. I am not involved in the transaction, however if you are interested - message me and I will put you in touch. Here is the description from the owner: I’ve owned the amp since 1970. Caps have been changed and there have been a few new tubes over the years. At one time it was modified to have a master volume but it has been restore to original configuration. NF is code for June 1964. The cabinet I’ve owned on...ly for about a year. I saw it advertised at the same time as two 1962 Utah speakers so I matched them together. I also have two Eminence speakers for it if someone would prefer those instead. Sounds great either way. I have a foot switch as well for the vibrato, which I also got about a year ago. $1699

On the bench, an older solid state Marshall with low intermittent output. This one had some pretty nasty solder work from the factory, and had a power resistor that had broken loose. The reverb connection had also broken free of the board. All fixed now. #repair #solidstate #marshall #fixinshit @ Peterborough, Ontario

I had an old Knight KM15 amp come in with a blown power transformer. I ordered a replacement based on the current requirements of the amp (original transformers are not available). Comparing the old to the new....I can see why it gave up the ghost! The new transformer is certainly up to the task. #repair #tubeamps #tributeaudiodesigns #sizematters #fixinshit

Sometimes you get an old amp in that almost makes you want to cry ...this is an old Ampeg Gemini I. I'm holding back the years because of what has happened to this amp through the years. Needless to say, whatever "tech" worked on this is hopefully out of business. There are no words....these pics are how it came in...DOA of course. On the bench...a Peavey EVH 5150. This one came in with pilot light on and no sound. Other than a "little" dust, this appeared to be very clean inside and out. The issue was a shorted power tube had heated the filament solder joints so much they lost contact at the connector. Hard to find...easy to fix.
