In addition to solar solutions and off grid, highspeed wireless internet, we are currently working on an initiative called Rosseau Acres. Rosseau Acres would provide 78 lots at a fraction of the cost of the current PEC vacant lot market prices. This would allow County residents to have Pride of Ownership as well as as stay in their hometown (www.rosseauacres.com) An opportunity otherwise lost on the residents of PEC. As the economy in PEC continues to grow and evolve, and... the cultural disconnect gets wider homeownership gets further and further out of reach for County Folk. This is becoming a crisis in our area, and as evidenced in this article by the Affordable Housing Commitee this problem is growing and the economic disconnect is getting larger. http://www.pictongazette.ca//countys-housing-crisis-has-/

In Flanders fields the poppies blow Between the crosses, row on row, That mark our place; and in the sky The larks, still bravely singing, fly Scarce heard amid the guns below.... We are the Dead. Short days ago We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow, Loved and were loved, and now we lie, In Flanders fields. Take up our quarrel with the foe: To you from failing hands we throw The torch; be yours to hold it high. If ye break faith with us who die We shall not sleep, though poppies grow In Flanders fields. ~John McCrae

The goal is clean electricity. The weight and efficiency of batteries are one of the major hurdles in achieving these goals. But it is happening. Just in 2019 the very first every flight of an all-electric commercial seaplane and it happened right here in Canada.

PEC are you tired of not being able to afford your rent? The cost of housing has gone up, with the median house price in PEC being $944,000. The Affordable Housing Corporation, created as a solution to the "housing crisis" in PEC originally created in 2018, has accomplished nothing in 2 years,(https://www.countylive.ca/progress-update-on-long-road-to-/) We have a solution, but we need your help... .https://www.tricanadianenergy.com/rosseau-acres/ Make this post go viral, get the attention that the housing crisis in PEC so desperately needs, and the help we all deserve as a community.

We're building a greener tomorrow by investing in the youth of today... We've been in the business of solar renewable energy for 20 years now. We are looking toward the future and training our young ones to be the leaders in solar energy in Canada. #TriCanEnergy #SolarEnergy SolarEnergySolutions

Snow has a negligible impact on the overall annual performance of a solar array. 5-year studies have shown to only reflect a 4% increase in energy production if the snow was swept off the modules every time there was a snowfall. TCE however has a proprietary solar tracking and snow dump technology that will follow the sun 365 days of the year and will clear snow from the solar array in order to assist with even the 4% increase in energy production. #solarenergysolutions #gr...eenenergy #princeedwardcounty Source: https://solaralberta.ca//NAIT%20Reference%20Array%20Report See more

What energy solutions have you considered for your tiny house? Solar panels fixed to the roof of your tiny house with an inverter and a battery back-up will give the tiny house the ability to heat, cook and power all of your electrical appliances so you can truly live off-grid. #SolarEnergy #TinyHouse #GreenEnergy #TriCanEnergy

A solar energy system is likely to increase the value of your home. Solar panels are viewed as an upgrade, much like a finished basement or a renovated kitchen would be. Buyers have been willing to pay a premium up to $15,000 for a home with an average size solar array installed. #solarenergysolutions #Solarenergy

It's the little things that add up... The average cost of electricity in Ontario is around $125 for every 1000 kWh. In rural areas, utility costs can soar with the addition of propane or oil for home heating costs. What if you could heat your home, power your lights, and do it all in an environmentally conscious way?... An investment in solar for your home is an investment in your home and in protecting our natural resources. Solar has never been more affordable and accessible. #Solarenergy #tricanenergy #greensolutions

The technology in solar energy solutions has advanced to the degree that it is becoming a more sustainable and practical solution for large industries. This image is of a rooftop array in Montreal. Panels sit on top of the flat roof of an industrial building and previously wasted space is now producing renewable energy. It's been a year, and slowly we've been building a High-Speed Rural Internet the County can depend on. We KNOW we aren't fully there yet. We have 9 towers erec...ted and 4 active. It's not enough. We know the community has been patiently and eagerly waiting. You have filled out requests for site surveys and have requested installations. We haven't forgotten about you. Our number one priority is ensuring that we can provide you with dependable service. And while we build our infrastructure we are working toward a better and faster internet for the entire County. So we are hoping you will wait a little while longer. We promise you, the wait will be well worth it. There isn't currently any other company within Prince Edward County that is working toward a faster, dependable network that is also completely dependant on solar energy to power it. Our commitment to you is to maintain communication. Starting next week we will have a toll-free number where we can be reached, and we are working at implementing on-call tech support for after-hours service. If you have previously sent in a site survey request, watch your email for an update as we send our trucks out. Most solar panels actually work best in cold conditions, provided it's sunny. Cold temperatures increase their conductivity, letting electricity flow more efficiently. Higher temperatures, on the other hand, reduce the panels efficiency. As solar panels heat up, they generate less electricity from the same amount of light. #solarenergysolutions #Solarenergy

Tri-Canadian Energy Inc. 27.06.2020

While a clear sunny day is absolutely the most ideal scenario for generating solar energy, a solar array will still generate energy even on cloudy days. The energy produced may range from 10-25% of their generating capacity depending on the severity of overcast conditions. Having a reliable back-up system in place can help to avoid unease in regards to power generation in instances where the panels aren't working to their full potential. #Solarenergysolutions #greenenergy #PrinceEdwardCounty

Tri-Canadian Energy Inc. 17.06.2020

Solar panels actually protect and preserve the portion of the roof where they sit potentially extending the life of your roofing materials. In the event the roof underneath the panels is ever damaged, it can be easily accessed by removing the panel since it isn't directly attached to the roof. Each aspect of the solar installation is fabricated with material that is 96% recyclable. From the panels to the batteries, everything used to generate the energy is recycled rather than dumped into a landfill. And there is a large industry dedicated to recycling this material. They will pay for this material rather than the end-user being on the hook for the cost of disposal. We are industry leaders in solar energy generation with over 20 years of expertise. ... Many who cite this myth are basing this belief off of old data. We at TCE offer three different solutions to help you meet your energy consumption needs. Efficiency of solar panels continues to increase, and material cost as well as installation costs steadily decrease every year. A solar panel install can pay for itself within 10 years, depending on your energy consumption costs currently. ... And solar panels have an age span of at least 20-25 years. Visit us at www.tricanadianenergy.com to inquire about custom solar packages.

A message from our communications division: To our valued clients and whom it may concern, It has come to our attention that an article was published today in the Picton Gazette claiming that we are shutting down our internet service by the end of this month. This is absolutely NOT TRUE. We emphatically deny this story. ... At this point in time all we know is that a press release was created and circulated without our knowledge or permission. Rural access to REAL high speed internet has never been more integral to our society as it is today. People want to live in a beautiful setting AND harness mode...rn technology for their work and creativity, and who can blame them? This is an attainable goal and our mission is to accomplish it. D'ari Lisle is a local entrepreneur whose business requires a strong connection. His testimonial below is exactly the response we want to elicit from our customers; we want all of PEC to share D'ari's satisfaction. Often forward progress is frustrating. We want to build out our network faster and service all the demand for REAL high speed internet , but we need to do so with care and with sustainable practices so as to deliver. Patience on both our parts will go a long way to bringing our common goal into being. Thank you, The TCE Team
