The 2020 Homeless Count Preliminary report was released yesterday and can be found at https://www.vancitycommunityfoundation.ca//2020-homeless-c The Tri-CIties saw a 26% drop in numbers from the 2017 count. The Tri-Cities is the only community in the lower mainland that has not opened an ERC. We owe it to everyone in our communities to do something.
A great, big, spectacular shout-out to the City of Coquitlam - Municipality for recognizing that our homeless community members deserve dignified options to practice basic hygiene! They have graciously opened two park washrooms and placed four porta-potties in various locations. <3
