"For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened. What father among you, if his son asks for a fish, will instead of a fish give him a serpent; or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him! For TriCity Women’s Fall study we will be delving into the book of James. James, a ‘wisdom book,’ puts the focus on the relationship between our faith and works. It shows us that a living faith transforms the way we live. James confronts us with truths that can be uncomfortable. It calls us to a sober examination of our lives. Subjects such as prosperity, partiality, good works, the life cycle of sin, the danger of the tongue, prayer and healing, and more are addressed in t...his letter. Please join us as we grow together both in our relationships and in our knowledge and practical application of the Word. Details: The study runs September 16th November 19th We are offering several groups on different days and times of the week, both in person and via Zoom For in person gatherings at the church building, child care will be provided at no additional cost Click here to register: https://tricitychurch.ca/womens-bible-studies
