After 43 years in business, Tri City Travel is no longer taking new clients and our office on Woolwich street is now closed. I have had the privilege of learning from the best while working with Cathy for the last 4 years. She loved her work and thought of her clients as friends which is what brought people back year after year to book their trips at Tri City Travel. It is with extreme sadness that I share the news that Cathy Grimwood has peacefully passed away after a 3 month battle with brain cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family. She was a kind, caring woman who loved her work and was dedicated to her clients whom she considered her friends. She was loved by so many and taken far too soon. She will be greatly missed. Rest in peace sweet Cathy. Funeral arrangements will be posted here tomorrow once they have been made.

A WestJet employee has gone above and beyond to help a man visit his dying sister.

By 2023 Disney Cruise Lines will be adding 3 more ships bringing their fleet up to 7 ships! The first ship is scheduled to be ready in 2022.

Tri City Travel is pleased to have Leila Ebrahimi doing her internship after having completed her Travel and Tourism degree, and Masters in tourism development. Perfect timing as Sandy is off for the summer having fun in the sun !

WestJet gives back

Welcome to another edition of Feminist Fridays! This week we are featuring Cat Grimwood from Tri City Travel. Cathy has been the owner of Tri City Travel for ...the last 3 years, however she has been with the company for 35 years! She Is known for always taking care of her clients and sending them on the very best and most memorable vacations. She recently moved her office to Woolwich St, you just have to follow her handy signs! What is neat about Cathy is that she is a pretty cool cat....what we mean is that she volunteers for New Hope Animal Rescue which is a shelter for felines. This home is completely occupied by the cats and they can roam free while taken care of by volunteers. New Hope will also help the cats get adopted into their forever home. They also do some fundraising throughout the year, such as raffles and a PAWSTA dinner. Cathy is also part of the Pets for Alice program in which a senior cat is matched with a senior citizen. Cathy then visits with them in their retirement home weekly to ensure they are happy with their new roommate as well as provide company and friendship to the seniors. Cathy knows how to juggle it all; business owner, volunteer, wife, mom and grandmother (to the sweetest young lady) Cathy thank you for being you!
