Earlier this week Team Trifecta completed installation of fascia, soffit, eavestrough, downpipe and some custom capping on a new home currently under construction. We are pleased with the result. #trifecta, #trifectaforexcellence #gutterperfection #eavestrough

Team Trifecta is back in the Twin Cities crossing the threshold of 2020 and into 2021 on a project we have never encountered before. The home itself is slow and tedious with the many mitres but meh; it's what we do. No the challenges are related to those solar panels. Usually our ladders have standoffs on the top that allow us to rest them on a first and second storey roof. That positions us away from and above the eavestrough making removal and replacement easier. In th...is case the solar panels prevent us from resting the ladders on the roof. Instead we have to rest the ladders against the house underneath the soffit, fascia and eavestrough. This means we have to work under the trough. Since we don't have our body weight to secure the ladder on a roof, we have the concern of the ladders potentially kicking out from under us on the icy ground below. Fun times! See more

Sometimes in life stuff jumps out at you unexpectedly, this time it was a deer coming back from Dutton. Hit the poor guy at around 80km/hr and as far as I can tell this is all the damage done. Headlight assembly, vent and blew the fog light out. Big thanks to "our insurance guy" Eric Gagne for giving me direction for the steps I should take going forward.

It's a bit harder starting from scratch but here are a few pics of a job we started today on a new home. The black aluminum looks really nice against the brick. Believe it or not; black has made a resurgence and it's difficult to source.

Team Trifecta has been off a few days. On Christmas Eve day Trailer Hitch Center Ltd. replaced my original trailer jack that was pretty much shot with a sweet electric Husky Brute tongue jack. Because of the imbalanced load over the axles with my aluminum brake on one side and my 5/6 trough machine on the other, they also installed 4 new Hercules 10 ply tires. After a couple days off, we have started an installation on a new home in the municipality of Dutton Dunwich (https://www.duttondunwich.on.ca) Thankfully they have less snow than we have in London, Ontario and while it's cold-ish; it's a pretty nice day. Looking ahead however; it seems like we're in for a wet, wintry mix this week.
