Reporting to the Production Supervisor this position would be responsible to program and set up CNC Lathes. The CNC Lathe Operator position will be required to perform tasks involving operating, loading and unloading of CNC lathes and perform in-process quality checks to ensure conformance to drawing specifications and other similar duties. Reporting to the Production Supervisor this position would be responsible to set up, program and operate CNC Mills. Skilled with precision and bench work in the fabrication, maintenance, repair and alteration of machinery, machine parts, tools and equipment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Perform all tasks in a safe and responsible manner. Read and interpret blueprints. Use gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements. Use precision tools, machinery and equipment such as lathe, vertical milling machine, drill press, hydraulic press, chop saw, band saw, push and pull broaches and a variety of cutting tools and equipment.
