We're 21 months away from In Not Of! Here's a #FlashbackFriday look at the third Lutheran Church Canada NYG, which took place in Three Hills, Alberta, in 1995. ...The theme was NO MISTAKIN’, based on Romans 1:16a: For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes... The Three Hills NYG is infamous for having fire alarms go off in the dorms in the middle of the night! Thankfully by the time the ABC District Youth Gathering was held there eleven years later, in 2006, the false alarm problem was under control, but everyone was still talking about it. Special thanks to The Canadian Lutheran for having so many pages of youth gathering news post-NO MISTAKIN’! Do you know anyone who was in Three Hills in 1995? There have been 11 NYGs, and over the next few months we'll be looking back at all of them - if you have photos you want to share, let us know!
