Hello Trinity Friends, This Sunday join us for worship either online or in person (limited seating) at 10:30 am. Please feel free to print them and follow along! Please note that orders of service will not be handed out during worship.... Did you know you can dedicate a bulletin/worship service in honour, in celebration, in memory of an important person in your life? If you would like to order a dedication for any of the upcoming weeks, please be in touch with Wanda in the church office. The cost to dedicate a bulletin/worship service is a $25. Next Sunday - November 29th is the first Sunday in Advent. We will be sharing in the sacrament of Holy Communion - covid style! For those of you who are at home, you will be invited to gather your own elements: bread and juice, or crackers and chardonnay, or bagels and tea - or whatever other elements you choose. There will be more information about how we will share Communion together next week. A reminder that your Trinity Covid Risk Management Team (there may be a new name for this group coming soon) continues to look for ways to ensure that we remain safe during these pandemic times. Hello Trinity Friends, This Sunday, join us for worship at 10:30 am - either in person (limited seating with Covid Safety protocols in place) or online at Trinity's YouTube Channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCy7mN9BQuGGXz98W-16fHqw Last week we were so thrilled to hear the return of live music in our Sanctuary. Heartfelt thanks to Rob Farris and Chris Clark for installing our new Covid music pods! Rob and Chris worked in accordance with the health unit to ensure that... all safety measures have been met. This will enable us to have soloists,and small groups of singers/musicians to enhance our worship service. Special thanks to Rev. Kathy for leading our Remembrance Sunday worship and to Peggy Miller and Chris Clark for their lovely musical offerings. We are also grateful to Rob Sanders and Marcel MacDonald for their offerings as well! This Sunday around 10:20, a hymn sing (or hymn hum if you are in the sanctuary) will begin. Thank you to Bryan Boothe for being our song leader this week. In the coming weeks we will be looking at ways in which we can share hymn lyrics and an order of service. Next week we will have both an order of service and hymn lyrics in the Friday email that folk at home can use to follow and sing along. Folk who wish may also borrow a hymn book set from the church. You may contact Wanda at the Church Office to arrange to pick up or have a set delivered. The Advent Newsletter has now been distributed - either via email or regular mail. Hello Trinity Friends, This Sunday we celebrate Remembrance Sunday, led by Rev. Kathy, our Associate Retired Minister. We will take pause to honour and remember those men and women who have served and continue to serve in military service to our country. The service begins at 10:30 am and will be livestreamed to Youtube and re-posted there afterwards to view at any point afterwards. Reminder: masks must be worn at all times and you must pass a Covid screening test. A reminder to those of you submitting items to the Advent newsletter - please get those in to Ross by tomorrow! This weekend the Canadian Shield Regional Council will be meeting over zoom for a General Meeting. We will be celebrating Rev. Ted's 20th year in Ordained Ministry as well as Rev. Lillian Roberts and Will Kunder's retirements. Next Sunday, November 8, we will have a special Remembrance Day Service led by Rev. Kathy. A reminder that Saturday November 7th is the deadline for Advent Newsletter submissions. Please get them in to Ross (call the church office for his contact info) Tonight, the youth group are meeting at 6 for a Hallowe'en party via zoom, and tomorrow at 1 pm, the Sunday School will have their Hallowe'en party. We continue to look for ways to maintain connections. The Sunday School will be working on a digital version of a Sunday School pageant this year. If your children/grandchildren would like to be involved please be sure to let me know. Scripts and costumes will be delivered to you! A reminder that the Scouts are selling coffee as a fundraiser. Using the website ScoutsCoffee.ca you can purchase coffee which will be delivered to your door. When given the option at checkout, select North Bay Scouting as your seller. Upper Room Subscriptions are still available as well. We are ordering new subscriptions now. Subscriptions cost $13.00 a year. (6 booklets) Contact Judi Rose to get your copies. Hello Trinity Friends and happy Saturday, This Sunday during our (in person and livestreamed) 10:30 am worship service we will celebrate Hallowe'en Sunday - with some special surprise I am sure! Costumes are welcome - whether you are coming to in person worship or watching from home! Feel free to send us a picture or post to Trinity Families if your family chooses to dress up! The North Bay Scouting community along with most volunteer organizations have lost their ability to raise funds through their usual methods. We have been provided an alternative by Scouts Canada.
