So sad, I have not been to South Caradoc United, but I have been to St. Andrews Anglican at Muncee many times, lovely little country church with the most beautiful lilac bushes around it in the spring.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! This year we are thankful for technology keeping us connected when we can't be together. We miss you so much and hope you have a g...reat weekend with your family. This link has a bunch of thanksgiving activities for the little humans in your life for while you are watching Sunday service online, or having some downtime around the house this weekend. If your house doesn't have access to a printer and/or colouring tools at this time please reach out and we can try to set up a time that I can get you some printouts or crayons.

#MLHU has declared a community #COVID19 outbreak after three Western University students tested positive yesterday. In addition to these three cases, the Health... Unit was also notified of two additional, associated cases today who are also #WesternU students; these two cases will be added to the Middlesex-London case count tomorrow. While the students who have tested positive all live in the community and have not attended classes or activities on campus, they have had a number of interactions at downtown bars and restaurants, and with students in neighbouring housing units. Media Release: https://bit.ly/3hteOCS #LdnOnt #Middlesex In addition to declaring a community outbreak as part of its investigation, the Health Unit is advising anyone who may have frequented downtown clubs, bars and restaurants to monitor themselves for symptoms and to get tested should they develop. MLHU staff members are continuing to identify and follow up with close contacts of the confirmed cases, who are being advised to quarantine and seek testing. Due to the number of contacts associated with the investigation, the Health Unit is anticipating additional cases in the coming days. If we ever needed evidence to show there‘s still a risk from COVID-19 in the community, this is it, says Dr. Chris Mackie, Medical Officer of Health with the Middlesex-London Health Unit. We know the temptation to get back together with friends and party is great, but it is crucial that we all do our part to prevent the spread of COVID-19. That means limiting social gatherings, sticking to our social circles, keeping two metres apart and staying home if you feel sick. The Health Unit is working with Western University administration to support these individuals as well as any other students who may need to seek testing or quarantine as a result of contact with the cases. In addition to getting tested at one of London’s COVID-19 Assessment Centres, Western University has a mobile testing unit available for students and employees Monday to Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Students can also pre-schedule in-person appointments with Student Health Care (https://www.uwo.ca/health/shs/shs_appointment.html). The Health Unit recommends the following actions to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 infections: Ensure your social circle includes a maximum of 10 people and don’t interact directly with people who are outside your social circle. Maintain physical distancing of at least two metres from other people. Wear masks when in enclosed public places and physical distancing is not possible. Visit an Assessment Centre to get tested if you are concerned you have COVID-19 or that you may have been in close contact with someone who has COVID-19. Wash your hands frequently with soap and water for 15-20 seconds or use a waterless hand sanitizer with an alcohol content of at least 70 percent. Cover coughs and/or sneezes with your sleeve or cough into your elbow. Clean high-touch areas, such as doorknobs in public spaces, frequently. Download the COVID Alert mobile app to be notified if you may have been exposed to COVID-19, and to let others know if you test positive for the virus.

Trinity United Church Community Centre 24.07.2020

We are pleased to announce that we will restart our in-person Worship Services on Sunday, September 13, 2020. We are proceeding with the utmost caution and will reopen in the safest way possible. Below is a summary of what you can anticipate for Sunday Services: In order to remain within the authorized attendance capacity, we ask that you pre-register for the services, until further notice. Please register by noon on the Friday before the service, thus for our first servic...e, the cut off would be noon on Friday, September 11. When we have received the registrations each person or family will be assigned a pew and seat number on Sunday and an usher will take you to your seat. Each person or family will wait until an usher is free to seat them. To register: please call the church at 519-455-2710 and leave a message, or email [email protected]. Please leave your name and phone number and/or email address in order for us to confirm your attendance. You will need to call or email each week to register for the following Sunday. For the protection of all, we will require that all people entering the building will wear a face mask, use hand sanitizer upon entering and exiting the building, and practice 6-feet social distancing. For the safety of all, physical contact with other congregants will be prohibited. To assist with distancing in the Sanctuary, we will have some pews roped off. We respect everyone’s personal choices and circumstances as to when they are comfortable returning to worship. While we are following rigorous safety guidelines, we also understand that it is not in the best interest for some to return to public Services. Online Services will continue for all!
