Great news! The Norma Marion Alloway Library is now offering Contactless Holds Pickup for material! The service is open to students, staff, faculty, alumni, affiliates, as well as community members. In three steps:... 1) Place a hold of the item(s) from our library’s catalogue, visit: www.twu.ca/library 2) Wait to receive notification when your material is ready to pick up. 3) Pick up material Monday to Friday between 9:00 am to 9:30 am and from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm. Please note that due to repairs from our flood in the fall, there is no access to C-Z material. We apologize for this inconvenience. We will do our best in sourcing an e-resource. In honour of National Nursing Week, we look back at Trinity Western’s first nursing graduating class, circa 1997! We also acknowledge the dedication, passion, and contributions of the nursing profession and those TWU alumni who are working to keep us all safe. Thank you! In the past week 53 e-titles were added to the Norma Marion Alloway Library's collection; below is a sample. Click on the link for more information. Check out these new ebooks today! Behind the screen: content moderation in the shadows of social media /Sarah T. Roberts. This title provides an extensive ethnographic study of the commercial content moderation industry. Based on interviews with workers from Silicon Valley to the Philippines, at boutique firms and at major social media companies, the author contextualizes this hidden industry and examines the emotional toll it takes on its workers.
