A beautiful Black Walnut board that our son made. It was too wide to run through the planer so he spent a number of hours sanding to get it just right for his mom. Great job Jordan. You did an amazing job on this board.

I am extremely proud of a newly completed project. Our client was very happy when she arrived home to see this beautiful piece in her doorway. This entrance table was made of a Black Walnut custom slab that was sanded down to a very smooth 320 grit finish. Store bought legs would not work on this table as the wood top was too narrow. Thankfully Challenger Mechanical was up for the task and custom legs with levellers were fitted. Once fitted they were sent out for a Matte Bl...ack finish. I applied 4 coats of Minwax High Gloss Polyurethane and over a weeks time allowing a couple days of dry time in between the top was good to go. After the final coat was dry the legs were installed and the table was delivered. I hope our client enjoys this entrance table for a long time. We had another happy client today pick up her board. This was another custom piece that is made from a slab of Black Walnut. Sanded down to a final 320grit for ultra smooth. This board was 16 wide x 26 length x 1 thick.

These boards were requested by a lady for Christmas gifts. (Shhhhh. It’s a secret). They are both Black Walnut boards. You cane see how each tree has it’s own personality and colour scheme. An absolutely beautiful tree. These pieces are 11-1/2 & 12 wide x 26 long x 1 thick. The client was extremely happy with the finished product. This is a custom made Black Walnut board that was originally requested by a husband for his wife’s birthday. They came for a socially distanced visit to discuss the details of what she really wanted. I found this piece and sent pics to make sure this birthday girl was getting what she envisioned. Once approved she didn’t see it until pickup day yesterday. She (they) was so happy.
