Bri’s Hobby Farm

1 dozen Mille fleur D’uccle, 1 dozen Porcelain D’uccle, and 1 dozen Cochin from a project pen (calico, mottled, and similar colours), with some extras of each. All bantams and are into the incubator tonight . I’ve also got a few of the extra cochin eggs I was sent, plus some eggs from my own bantams under a broody mama now, hopefully this brood goes better for her than earlier this year.

Another exciting occurrence today, the call ducks have begun hatching in the last day . So far 7 have successfully hatched, with 4 more (that I can see through the little viewing windows-though it sounds like there’s more than 4), hatching.

Kia had her calf last night . He’s doing great, and Kia is just as quiet as Darla (her momma) is after calving. Absolutely couldn’t be happier with the outcome! And he’s got the cutest little white socks and belly to boot

We still have some gorgeous rex babies that haven’t been spoken for, bucks and does, ready to go by July 18th .

The Sophie/Max litter is growing a fair bit now .
