1 in 5 children on PEI are living in poverty, and that number continues to grow. This is simply unthinkable, and unacceptable. A basic income guarantee program would eliminate poverty for all, including our children. Thank you Karla Bernard, MLA for speaking out on this critical issue. #peipoli

I am so impressed and inspired by the fearless advocacy and leadership of Courtney Ann Crosby to stand up for the wellbeing of Islanders. $900 raised so far to help those experiencing homelessness is incredible! Please consider showing your support for Courtney by making a donation if you can, or sharing this post with others. Thank you for your bravery Courtney Ann!

As a component of our Capital Fundraising Campaign, the Tyne Valley & Area Events Centre Rebuild Project is now requesting proposals for a new sponsor for its Z...amboni. Significant interest has been expressed in this opportunity, so the Board of Directors has determined that the fairest approach to awarding this sponsorship is through an RFP process. In addition to advertising presence on the Zamboni, the Sponsor will receive two (2) signs on the Boards and permanent recognition in a commemorative display within the Events Centre. Businesses interested in this sponsorship opportunity can message the Events Centre or contact Finance Sub-Committee Chair, Matt McGuire at [email protected]. Deadline to respond is Friday, December 18 @ 2:00 p.m. *Zamboni in photo is just for image content; not a true depiction of Zamboni for our future arena
