When Trish Peter was 16 years old she was diagnosed with cancer. Four years later at age 19 she succumed to the disease. Trishs Wish Foundation began after she... was diagnosed as a way to help with costs associated with her treatment and over the last 17 years has helped countless other young adults in Kawartha Lakes as well. This year, due to the pandemic, their major fundraiser had to be cancelled.
