Merry Christmas- you are the boss of your life where no one can tell you shit! In a world with so many choices and such little discipline, it is easy to catch ...yourself giving a half-assed effort! It is becoming tougher and tougher for parents, bosses, coaches, teachers, etc., to properly discipline and teach because so many people frown upon discipline nowadays. So, Merry Christmas! You got what most people want- you are your own boss! That said, you have the ability to hit snooze and skip making the bed, to saying fuck the protein shake and egg white omelet and opt for the drive thru for donuts and coffee. You have the right to say fuck it and not study or stroll into work 20 minutes late knowing that half of the bosses won’t say anything for fear of getting in trouble themselves for being too hard on the staff. Basically, we don’t have to do shit that we don’t want to do. I can look back and see exactly where poor choices with no discipline got me- at the bottom of my class, later weighing 297lbs washing down mini-chocolate donuts with chocolate milkshakes, hitting she snooze button multiple times, etc. but....I was my own boss and, at that time, that was good enough for me! So when you fall flat on your fucking ass from choosing the easy, lazy, comfortable way, like I did, don’t bother looking to your left and right for your parents, teachers, bosses, and society to blame for your failure in life or the fast-food restaurants for making your ass fat! The beautiful thing about not being able to discipline people anymore is that when you fall on your ass, you only have yourself to blame. Modern society is slowly trying to silence the voice of discipline therefore don’t look anywhere when you fail other than at yourself.
