Rick was busy this week repairing a previously repaired transmission (done at another location). This is by far the worst repair and install I have seen. The transmission wasn’t even for this truck, but it was modified to fit. Note the fillings in the pan, silicone on the transfer case/transmission to stop a leak after the install and welded nuts to extend the torque converter.

Missing teeth on a ring gear, in a transfer case on a 2009 Nissan Murano. Transfer case replacement was necessary as the case was split in half. Another repair done right and on time by Rick Joly.

Rick vacuum testing valves to determine the cause of shudder from the 4th clutch. 0psi valve at rest, 10psi when stroked. This indicates a properly sealed spool valve. He can now proceed looking at other potential causes, the valve body checks good.
