NEW SONG - Run the Race I wrote this early this past summer to process what it would be like for kids (and my kids) to grow up in this day and age where so much racial injustice still occurs. But it didn't feel right to post it back then. I needed to be quiet with this, listen, learn from my brothers and sisters of colour, and prioritize them on the mic. But as I'm not hearing as much of this discussion lately from those around me, I thought now is an appropriate time to shar...e some thoughts, keep this reality in discussion, and perhaps stir thoughts for some people who haven't been engaged in this conversation. If any of the lyrics are off, I'm still learning and I don't have it all figured out, it's a process. I hope this song and video spark some helpful thoughts for you guys.
